Sayed comes to the Center of Peace with a fascinating mix of education and training. He has a Masters degree in Engineering. Sayed also has had several years of training as a Shaman and leads spiritual Sweat Lodges. He guides others through these rituals to assist in the purification of the mind, body, and spirit. Sweat Lodges have been known to aid in physical, spiritual and mental healings and spiritual enlightenment. Sayed is also a trained Reiki Master and shares his gifts through energy healing sessions. He has a love of poetry. His passion is as a student of Rumi. His search and journey for spiritual enlightenment has led him to study many of the major religions. He continues his spiritual quest and remains open to learn on a deeper level each new day. In speaking at the Center of Peace, and other venues, Sayed's preference is to create more questions in the mind of the receiver, rather than to provide answers. He continues to facilitate individuals, and groups, by encouraging them to go within to obtain Divine answers. This pursuit brings Sayed great joy. It brings the members of the Center of Peace an even greater joy being inspired by his kindness and his inspirational talks.
Reverend Rachel Hollander was born into a very musical Reform Jewish family in Cleveland, Ohio. Her father was the cantor at the temple and - in Rachel's family - you either had to "find your harmony" or find another ride home!! She grew up singing everything from pop and folk tunes to musical theater to Hebrew prayers and more. As a young adult, Rachel began to feel that there was a larger world of Spirituality to explore. She attended gatherings at different churches/groups, began reading and asking more questions. In 2004, Rachel released two CDs, one of which is still available on iTunes called "inward fire". As the Spiritual Life Journey continued, Rachel found herself in Anchorage, Alaska. There she worked as a sign language interpreter and also became a Practitioner of Science of Mind. This life-changing experience led her to One Spirit Interfaith Seminary and into her Path as an InterSpiritual Minister. She also has traveled the path of personal healing in her life which is chronicled in her one-woman show/keynote "Choose Again: a journey of wholeness." For more info on Rachel, the show, and for tracks of her music, please visit her - perpetually under-construction - website: www.choozagain.com.
Bob's focus since teaching Science of Mind classes in Russia almost 20 years ago has been sharing these teachings worldwide. It led first to ministerial school and then on to the International Outreach Committee (IOC) of UCRS (United Church of Religious Science). Bob currently serves as the Global Ecclesiastical Representative for the United Centers for Spiritual Living and on the Global Resources Core. For a year he was the senior Minister at Light on the Mountains Spiritual Center in Sun Valley and for a year and a half taught classes in Boise also. Since then, he has spoken at the Center of Peace and in England, Mexico, Peru, Russia, South Africa, Ukraine, and elsewhere in the U.S.

M'Tae has been a guest speaker at the Center of Peace for many years. She continues to share from her heart. Her wonderful spirit and wisdom in the Buddhist teachings has inspired us many times over. M'Tae loves to share what she has learned from her many years of spiritual studies. She is also a Hatha Yoga instructor and enjoys leading guided meditations. She has taught Yoga in Boise since 1989 and has been a student of lyengar Yoga since 1984. M'Tae delights in bringing our minds together to explore our natural spiritual nature. M'Tae has been working diligently on completing a graduate program for her chaplaincy. We support her on this journey. We feel honored when we are gifted with her inspiring messages on Sunday mornings at the Center of Peace.
